Heart Of The Valley Performance Horses
Clever Declan, 2014 dual registered Jockey Club and American Paint Horse Association, Dominate White thoroughbred stallion by Arctic and out of Aneighzing Grace by Montbreita. He is also acknowledged by the American Quarter Horse Association for the purpose of registered Appendix Quarter Horse foals.
His grand Sire is Airdire Apache, son of thoroughbred mare Not Quite White the original source of the W22 white mutation, and is the world’s leading sire of colored thoroughbreds. His grand dam, Club Car Lady, is a true sister of the 4 million dollar earning thoroughbred stallion Silver Charm (He won the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes, but was denied the Triple Crown as he was beat in the Belmont stakes in 1997 by a mere 3/4 of a length.
Cowboy, as we call him, is a gorgeous chestnut stallion who carries one dominant Agouti as well as W20 and W22 which makes his appear mostly white eeAaW20W22; however with his genes, he can produce a wide variety of color patterns on his foals. To date he has not been bred as he was focusing on training and growing, but his first foal crop is scheduled to be born 2020 and we cannot be more excited! He will be bred to a money earning thoroughbred as well as many colored quarter horses to include homozygous black grullas and champagnes.
Besides is color, Cowboy has a huge and fluid movement that is well suited for dressage. He has been free jumped to a height of 3’6″ and has a lovely, effortless form. He would also be well suited to barrel racing and will begin training on that in 2019. His disposition is second to none and that is our favorite part about him! This guy is in his introductory year, but with his size, color, conformation and disposition, we are sure that we will have an illustrious career furthering all 3 of the breeds he is eligible to register foals.
